Hi Readers – well, so much going on but another newsletter drought. Have been a bit starved for information and time to put finger to keyboard but here goes…………..

Of course, Club Day # 2 was postponed at the last minute by MQ as the Coolum round of the SSMX was severely rained off the weekend prior and this event was moved to clash with the club day. We have had 2 successful club days since then on March 16^th and an extra (fill in) meeting on April 6^th. Unpredictable weather this year has struck with the March round seeing a boggy start to the day and tricky conditions later with deep ruts and a choppy surface.  Saturday rains also appeared for the April round but this time Sunday morning saw a perfect race surface without too much mud or dust. A couple of brief showers kept the track in awesome condition  while the black storm clouds circled all day.

Some breathtaking racing was seen on both days – I’m sure everyone has stepped it up a notch this year and I’m sure that any first time spectators will have left awe struck.
